{"id":528,"date":"2023-07-10T09:48:11","date_gmt":"2023-07-10T09:48:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/used82.com\/?p=528"},"modified":"2023-07-10T09:48:12","modified_gmt":"2023-07-10T09:48:12","slug":"grand-opening-at-garth-brooks-new-bar-draws-maybe-a-dozen-people","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/used82.com\/?p=528","title":{"rendered":"Grand Opening at Garth Brooks\u2019 New Bar Draws \u201cMaybe a Dozen People\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Garth Brooks made the awful decision to not only endorse Bud Light, but to call the majority of Americans \u201cassholes.\u201d Last night, karma paid him back.<\/p>\n<p>The Grand Opening Celebration of his new bar in downtown Nashville, Friends In Low Places, was a complete flop.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s not that it wasn\u2019t well-organized or under-advertised,\u201d said bar manager Joe Barron, \u201cIt\u2019s that Garth had to come out and say what he did a week before our big night.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Barron says he quit the bar after midnight came and the customer count reached \u201cjust over a dozen.\u201d \u2018I was livid, he said, \u201cI spent like $300 on a white hat to match his feel-good attitude.
