{"id":5280,"date":"2023-11-23T20:41:30","date_gmt":"2023-11-23T20:41:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/used82.com\/?p=5280"},"modified":"2023-11-23T20:41:30","modified_gmt":"2023-11-23T20:41:30","slug":"figure-in-the-clouds-appears-in-mans-photo-of-a-sunrise","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/used82.com\/?p=5280","title":{"rendered":"Figure in the Clouds Appears in Man\u2019s Photo of a Sunrise"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On January 1, 2020, a man in Wales named Rhys Pleming snapped the photo of a lifetime\u2014in a photo he took of a sunrise, there appeared to be a figure in the clouds.<\/p>\n<h2>Rhys Pleming\u2019s Photo of the Figure in the Clouds<\/h2>\n<p>On that New Year\u2019s day, Rhys Pleming was 30-years-old at the time, and he was determined to hike to the top of Mount Snowdon, and see the first sunrise of the year. So he and a friend gathered their hiking gear and set out to hike England and Wales\u2019 highest peak. It was very cloudy out that day; so it wasn\u2019t technically the best day to see a sunrise, but that didn\u2019t stop Rhys Pleming even though he knew he might not even see the sunrise.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere was only a 50\/50 chance of seeing the sunrise,\u201d Rhys Pleming said of the conditions and the cloud-cover on that January day. \u201cBut me and my friend decided to go up anyway.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>And thankfully they did because the very first photo Phys Pleming took of the sunrise was pretty amazing\u2014a figure in the clouds appeared in the sunrise! From the top, Rhys Pleming\u2019s view of the sunrise wasn\u2019t especially clear because of the hazy mist that morning. Still, he snapped those pics and saw that figure in the clouds that many believe looks like Jesus standing in the sunset.<\/p>\n<p>The catch wasn\u2019t planned by Rhys Pleming, however. He said it was \u201cpure luck\u201d and he just happened to have \u201cperfect timing\u201d to catch that figure in the clouds.<\/p>\n<p>Believe it or not, this is one of many\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/faithit.com\/flash-light-moment-conception-discovered-scientists\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-mil=\"96434\">phenomenons<\/a>\u00a0that science can explain, and it\u2019s called Brocken Spectre. When the sun is low behind a person taking a photo, the sun rays can cast the person\u2019s shadow onto the mist and create a light ring around that shadow.<\/p>\n<p>But even though the figure in the clouds that Rhys Pleming caught in an image, that doesn\u2019t mean God wasn\u2019t behind the atmospheric phenomenon. He did after all create science, right? And let\u2019s not forget that it was the first image caught by the hiker on New Years Day of 2020. Could the image have been a message from God about his presence in a tumultuous year for the whole world? Perhaps.<\/p>\n<h2>Verses about a Jesus and Clouds<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sermoncentral.com\/bible\/new-international-version-niv\/revelation-1-7?passage=Revelation+1%3A7\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Revelation 1:7<\/a>\u00a0says of Jesus\u2019 return to earth, \u201c\u201cLook, he is coming with the clouds,\u201d\u00a0<a class=\"footnote-reference\" href=\"https:\/\/www.sermoncentral.com\/bible\/new-international-version-niv\/revelation-1-7?passage=Revelation+1%3A7#footnote-a\">[a]<\/a>\u00a0and \u201cevery eye will see him, even those who pierced him\u201d; and all peoples on earth \u201cwill mourn because of him.\u201d\u00a0<a class=\"footnote-reference\" href=\"https:\/\/www.sermoncentral.com\/bible\/new-international-version-niv\/revelation-1-7?passage=Revelation+1%3A7#footnote-b\">[b]<\/a>\u00a0So shall it be! Amen.\u201d Also regarding Jesus\u2019 return, He said in\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sermoncentral.com\/bible\/new-international-version-niv\/matthew-24-30?passage=Matthew+24%3A30\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Matthew 24:30<\/a>, \u201cThen will appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven. And then all the peoples of the earth\u00a0<a class=\"footnote-reference\" href=\"https:\/\/www.sermoncentral.com\/bible\/new-international-version-niv\/matthew-24-30?passage=Matthew+24%3A30#footnote-a\">[a]<\/a> will mourn when they see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven, with power and great glory.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>There are also other verses about Jesus and clouds, as well. Such as\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sermoncentral.com\/bible\/new-international-version-niv\/acts-1-9?passage=Acts+1%3A9\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Acts 1:9<\/a>, which says \u201cAfter he (Jesus) said this, he was taken up before their very eyes, and a cloud hid him from their sight.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The gospels also refer to God speaking from the clouds about Jesus.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sermoncentral.com\/bible\/new-international-version-niv\/matthew-17-5?passage=Matthew+17%3A5\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Matthew 17:5<\/a>\u00a0says, \u201cWhile he was still speaking, a bright cloud covered them, and a voice from the cloud said, \u2018This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased. Listen to him!\u2019\u201d\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sermoncentral.com\/bible\/new-international-version-niv\/mark-9-7?passage=Mark+9%3A7\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mark 9:7<\/a>\u00a0says, Then a cloud appeared and covered them, and a voice came from the cloud: \u201cThis is my Son, whom I love. Listen to him!\u201d And\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sermoncentral.com\/bible\/new-international-version-niv\/luke-9-34?passage=Luke+9%3A34\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Luke 9:34<\/a>\u00a0says, \u201cWhile he was speaking, a cloud appeared and covered them, and they were afraid as they entered the cloud.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In the Old Testament, the Bible prophesies Jesus in the clouds in Daniel 7:13. It says, \u201cIn my vision at night I looked, and there before me was one like a son of man,\u00a0<a class=\"footnote-reference\" href=\"https:\/\/www.sermoncentral.com\/bible\/new-international-version-niv\/daniel-7-13?passage=Daniel+7%3A13#footnote-a\">[a]<\/a>\u00a0coming with the clouds of heaven. He approached the Ancient of Days and was led into his presence.\u201d<\/p>\n<div id=\"faith-363582294\" class=\"faith-post-content-5\">\n<div id=\"contribute_button\"><a class=\"myButton\" href=\"https:\/\/faithit.com\/become-a-contributor\/\">Become A Contributor<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>And one day those who believe will join Jesus in the clouds, according to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sermoncentral.com\/bible\/new-international-version-niv\/1-thessalonians-4-17?passage=1+Thessalonians+4%3A17\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">1 Thessalonians 4:17<\/a>. \u201cAfter that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air.
