If you tuned into\u00a0Wheel of Fortune\u00a0<\/em>mid episode, you might have been lucky enough to catch host Pat Sajak tackling a contestant in an odd spectacle.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Earlier this year in a March episode of the show, 76-year-old\u00a0TV<\/a> legend Pat Sajak took it upon himself to take the show in a slightly unexpected direction.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Wheel of Fortune<\/a>\u2019s star player that episode, Fred, revealed some details about himself, most notably that he was a professional\u00a0wrestler<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

As well as this, he was a bar trivia host and a drama\u00a0teacher<\/a>\u00a0– but his wrestling vocation will become more important later.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Fred detailed that he isn\u2019t paid well to wrestle but does it just for the fun of the sport.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

It was a pretty successful night for Fred as he won numerous rounds during the Hawaii-themed episode, with him solving the \u2018Pineapple upside-down cake\u2019 puzzle.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

After guessing countless words correctly, Sajak can be heard joking: \u201cWell, the Fred Fletcher Jackson show continues.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Fred\u2019s clean sweep meant he was able to progress to the final round with $5,700 in the bank. The two other guests could barely get a word in edgeways and Sajak gave a hilarious apology to them, before jokingly calling Fred a \u2018brute\u2019 for doing so well.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

\u201cTo you two, I want to say it happens sometimes \u2013 someone just gets really hot,\u201d Sajak says.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

\u201cJust because he\u2019s a professional wrestler\u2026 You want me to body slam him for you? I can do that.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Fred took home an extra $40,000 after guessing the final phrase \u2018His mind is wandering\u2019 correctly and Sajak \u2013 who has hosted the show since 1981 \u2013 was in shock.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

In keeping with his promise to the two unfortunate guests from earlier, Sajak grabs and tries to tackle Fred while the audience watch and applaud.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Thankfully, the hilarious moment was all in good fun and Fred survived long enough to take home his $75,800 earnings.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Before being humorously tackled, Fred flexed his biceps happily after guessing the final phrase.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

His father, who joined him onstage shortly after his final winning moment, stood and watched as Sajak grabbed his son from behind.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cWhy didn\u2019t he body slam Pat?\u201d one fan quipped in the comments.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

A second viewer wrote: \u201cFred is a part-time wrestler, so Pat joined with his prowess.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
