One man in the US has taken dad duty to the next level after his wife, who is now well and recovering, \ud835\udc60\ud835\udc62\ud835\udc53\ud835\udc53\ud835\udc52\ud835\udc5f\ud835\udc52\ud835\udc51 complications during the birth of their first child.<\/p>\n

After his wife April had a \ud835\udc60\ud835\udc52\ud835\udc56\ud835\udc67\ud835\udc62\ud835\udc5f\ud835\udc52 due to complications from \ud835\udc5d\ud835\udc5f\ud835\udc52\ud835\udc52\ud835\udc50\ud835\udc59\ud835\udc4e\ud835\udc5a\ud835\udc5d\ud835\udc60\ud835\udc56\ud835\udc4e after a C-section, Maxamillian Neubauer knew he needed to step up to the plate and care for his baby while his wife was \ud835\udc62\ud835\udc5b\ud835\udc50\ud835\udc5c\ud835\udc5b\ud835\udc60\ud835\udc50\ud835\udc56\ud835\udc5c\ud835\udc62\ud835\udc60. While most fathers would be content with a little skin-to-skin contact, Max went a step further by \u201cbreastfeeding\u201d his infant daughter with a \ud835\udc5d\ud835\udc5f\ud835\udc5c\ud835\udc60\ud835\udc61\u210e\ud835\udc52\ud835\udc61\ud835\udc56\ud835\udc50 \ud835\udc5b\ud835\udc56\ud835\udc5d\ud835\udc5d\ud835\udc59\ud835\udc52.<\/p>\n

With the help of nurses, Maxamillian was able to slap on a \ud835\udc53\ud835\udc4e\ud835\udc58\ud835\udc52 \ud835\udc5b\ud835\udc56\ud835\udc5d\ud835\udc5d\ud835\udc59\ud835\udc52 suction cup which used a cord attached to a \ud835\udc60\ud835\udc66\ud835\udc5f\ud835\udc56\ud835\udc5b\ud835\udc54\ud835\udc52 to feed milk through to the hungry newborn.<\/p>\n

Rather than using a bottle, Max taped a \ud835\udc5b\ud835\udc56\ud835\udc5d\ud835\udc5d\ud835\udc59\ud835\udc52 shield to his chest and attached a \ud835\udc60\ud835\udc66\ud835\udc5f\ud835\udc56\ud835\udc5b\ud835\udc54\ud835\udc52 loaded with baby formula to it to imitate a breast, ensuring Rosala had the most realistic \ud835\udc5b\ud835\udc62\ud835\udc5f\ud835\udc60\ud835\udc56\ud835\udc5b\ud835\udc54 experience possible.<\/p>\n

While Max was eager to help in any way possible, he admits he definitely needed a little help getting situated from the nursing staff<\/p>\n

\u201cI needed a lot of guidance and helping hands since I\u2019m not an expert on the matter. It was great in the end and as close as you can get to natural breastfeeding.\u201d<\/p>\n

Max told POPSUGAR that he went into full-on dad mode as soon as he laid eyes on his newborn daughter, Rosal\u00eda Lupita Valentina Neubauer.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was so emotionally wrecked at that point. I saw my wife have a \ud835\udc60\ud835\udc52\ud835\udc56\ud835\udc67\ud835\udc62\ud835\udc5f\ud835\udc52 and knew she had another one behind closed doors,\u201d he said. \u201cThen to see this beautiful ball of joy come out those doors that I helped create and am now responsible for.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cApril and I decided early on that we were going to do immediate skin-to-skin\u00a0 with our baby,\u201d explained Max. \u201cAfter her surgery, she was \ud835\ude9c\ud835\ude8e\ud835\ude8d\ud835\ude8a\ud835\ude9d\ud835\ude8ed and unable to feed or have contact with her, so I had to step up and get shirtless to make up some ground seeing as mama wasn\u2019t there.\u201d<\/p>\n

Interestingly enough, Max is considered to be a pioneer of the whole process, according to Door County Medical. He was the first man to ever give this new form of bonding a try at the hospital: \u201cI guess they have asked a few fathers but nobody said yes until me.\u201d<\/p>\n

At the end of the day, Max admits that he was just trying to do what\u2019s best for his family. \u201cI was really just doing what my dad would have done for me. I was doing what my wife would have wanted.\u201d<\/p>\n

Thankfully, April is finally home and recovering.<\/p>\n

The proud father posted photos of the event to \ud835\udc39\ud835\udc4e\ud835\udc50\ud835\udc52\ud835\udc4f\ud835\udc5c\ud835\udc5c\ud835\udc58 which garnered over 44,000 reactions from people everywhere and over 30,000 shares.<\/p>\n

Thousands of social media users sung praises for Maxamillian.<\/p>\n
