According to reports, Robert Deniro has been axed as a presenter from every major awards show coming up this season:<\/p>\n
Hollywood\u2019s elite awards ceremonies take months of planning. There\u2019s so much involved that the duties are split between different committees.<\/p>\n
One of the more difficult is the Presenter\u2019s Committee since they must choose and vet dozens of people. Before they begin, each member gets to disqualify one presenter by secret ballot. This year, Oscar Committee all voted for Robert DeNiro.<\/p>\n
\u201cNobody wants to see him stand there and recite his angry speech. He looks so silly behind the podium. Like a little white Papa Smurf,\u201d said James Woods, \u201cHe\u2019s lost all credibility.\u201d<\/p>\n
This year\u2019s Oscar Chairman, Joe Barron, says he\u2019s pretty sure no awards show will invite DeNiro to the stage anytime soon. \u201cHe\u2019s a toxic little goon,\u201d said Barron, \u201cHe\u2019s lucky he\u2019s never been a Chris Rock\u2019s distance from Will Smith.\u201d
