Sharon Osbourne is one of the most outspoken TV personalities in the United States and in the United Kingdom. She has been a fixture both in American and British media for quite some time already. Being wed to the famous Black Sabbath vocalist Ozzy Osbourne, Sharon has also made her name in the industry as a prolific entertainment manager.
Most notably, Sharon gained prominence when she and Ozzy tied the knot in Maui, Hawaii, on July 4, 1982. Since then, the two have lived a peaceful life together in the United States along with their three children – Aimee Osbourne, who is an actress and a singer; Kelly Osbourne, who is a fashion designer and a model; and their only son, Jack Osbourne, who has traveled the world together with Ozzy on their short History channel series, “Ozzy & Jack’s World Detour.”
Aside from being a caring mom and wife to Ozzy, Sharon has also become a television personality loved by women in both the United States and her home in the United Kingdom. In the US, she was a mainstay host of the daytime talk show series “The Talk”‘ for 11 seasons and was a judge on “America’s Got Talent” from 2007 to 2012. But she appealed more to those in her home country when she became a judge on the British version of “The X-Factor” for seven years.
Over the years, Sharon has received backlash for her talking points on “The Talk.” And in March 2023, fans had mixed reactions to seeing a series of photos of the 70-year-old as she looked remarkably different.

When many people think of Sharon, they picture a vibrant red-haired woman. The star has been rocking the look pretty consistently since 2002. The only change in those decades was Sharon tooling with the intensity of the red or adding other colors to the mix. However, the star threw fans for a loop back in 2020 when she debuted a new look.
In February of that year, Sharon debuted silvery locks on Instagram, shocking fans. Her colorist, Jack Martin, described the result as a “complete transformation.” Revealing his handiwork in a side-by-side photo comparison, Martin unveiled “The Talk” co-host’s new look. Martin touched upon Sharon’s motivation for the change in his caption, where he wrote, “Sharon has 100% white hair, and she was coloring her hair once a week dark vibrant red for the past 18 years.”
He also spoke about the pressures she, as well as other women in Hollywood, face when it comes to maintaining a specific image. Martin wrote, “Sharon was very tired of coloring her hair once a week and was obligated to since she is on TV almost every day hosting her popular TV show @thetalkcbs.” With Martin’s help, it seemed she’d finally taken the plunge. In preparing her, Martin said, “I didn’t promise Sharon anything but I told her I will try my best.”
Sharon appeared distinguished in her hairdo. It was undoubtedly a big change for her and her fans —seemingly so significant that she had to go back to her signature red! Sharon debuted the return to her (colored) roots on “The Talk.” She explained her decision to revert back. Later, Osbourne also posted the segment on her Instagram. She captioned the vid with: “What color should I try next? 🌈”

According to Page Six, Sharon’s look has changed quite a bit over the years. Looking through photos, it was not always so obvious what Sharon could have possibly changed, but the outlet said that she had gotten a facelift in 2019.
“It was five weeks (ago) today that I had my operation. And I had my neck done, my jowls,” Sharon explained at the time. “They kind of pulled it from the top of my head … but everything was just lifted up. So, it looks more refreshed.”
In March 2023, Sharon surprised fans yet again when she posted a series of photos on Instagram. In the photos, fans could see Sharon spending time with her extended family. According to PEOPLE, Sharon is a grandma to Jack’s children, Pearl, Andy, Minnie and Maple, and Kelly’s son Sydney.
However, the star also looked quite different. While she still had her trademark hair, she appeared to be thinner and went makeup free. People noticed that her face shape looked less square as well.
”Where’s her square jaw?” one person asked. Another said, “SHARON … I love you more than my own mother but darling PLEASE no more face stuff…”
Another person quipped that Sharon looked “very unwell.” However, one fan stood up for her and said, “Probably..cancer never goes away.” She had been diagnosed with colon cancer back in 2002.
More people stood up for Sharon, with one person commenting, “Sharon’s a trouper, she’s lost weight. We’re all used to her with make up & lush lashes. This is the grandma look & she’s so happy.”
Another said, “Sharon looks different because she doesnt have a ton of makeup on and shes showing her true self. She has a right to look anyway she wants. I believed she earned it.”
