The young carpenter decided to surprise everyone and make a floating palace.

For this purpose, he bought an old decommissioned barge and set to work.

When friends saw a rusty wreck, they just laughed at the guy.

What can be done from a pile of old metal. However, the young man was determined.

He spent his last money on buying a barge.

At first he had doubts and wanted to buy a small apartment, but he did not have enough money even for the most modest apartment.

So the idea of transforming the barge was born. He took materials for interior decoration at the dacha,

it remains only to buy paint and a couple of tools. First of all, he updated the metal frame, cleaned it of rust, repaired holes and painted it.

Then he took up the interior decoration.

He slightly insulated the metal walls from the inside and made mini windows to enjoy the sea view.

The bedroom turned out to be small, but very cozy and original.

The bed was transformed into a wardrobe during the day, and sconces with subdued light hung next to it.

He made the kitchen in place of the old one, so as not to change the location of the wiring and plumbing pipes.

Adjacent to the kitchen is a small living room, or rather a seating area with a soft sofa and a small table that could be folded if desired.

The guy did almost all the work with his own hands, since he was a carpenter, and besides that he was well versed in plumbing.

After completing the interior decoration, the young man decided to make a convertible roof. It turned out original.

So it was possible in clear weather to sail with an open roof, fish and breathe fresh air, and close it in wind and rain.

When everything was ready, the guy lowered the houseboat into the water, the admiration of passers-by was great.

The updated barge looked like a floating palace both from the outside and from the inside.

The guy dreamed of sea voyages, and now he could sail with the comfort of being at home.
