Jake Paul’s mom speaks out on Mike Tyson savagely slapping him the night before their fight

Jake Paul’s mom had a pretty straight forward verdict about Mike Tyson slapping her son

Ahead of the fight between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul, Paul’s mom had something to say about the former champion.

If things couldn’t get any weirder, Jake Paul’s mom Pam Stepnick has weighed in on the latest controversy between the two fighters.

During the weigh-in on November 14, fans got a slight glimpse of the fight to come as Tyson took a swing at Paul.

Not a full-on hook, but rather a light slap as the pair got close and looked each other in the face.

Facing off to each other, Paul, 27, crawled up to Tyson, 58, and was quickly greeted with a slap. Paul staggered backwards after the brutal blow as Tyson was pushed back from Paul by security.

Taunting the 58-year-old, Paul then blew kisses as he was ushered away.

The YouTuber seemed unbothered by the whole situation and later said ‘I didn’t even feel it’.

He added: “He’s angry. He’s an angry little elf. Mike Tyson, I thought that was a cute slap, buddy, but tomorrow you’re getting knocked the f*** out.”

Tyson later explained the reason for why he did it and while some have argued they thought the altercation was staged, the former heavyweight champion’s reasoning is pretty straight forward.

He told the Post: “I was in my socks and he had on shoes. He stepped on my toe because he is a f***ing a**hole. I wanted to think it happened by accident.

“But now I think it may have happened on purpose. I was in a lot of pain. I had to reciprocate.”

But in a somewhat surprising turn, Paul’s mother also weighed in on the incident, in a clip that has now begun circulating on social media.

First posted on the YouTube Page FightHype, Stepnick was asked what she thought about the slap.

Before walking off she simply replied: “He’s a b****.”

Stepnick, who was at the event, was seen hugging Paul after the weigh in, again calling the boxer a b****.

Paul laughed and replied: “You slap harder than him.”

The below video contains some strong language:

So if it wasn’t clear before, there is certainly bad blood between the two, with many hoping this will turn into a memorable and entertaining fight.

Viewers can tune in live to watch the Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson match on Netflix on Friday November 15. The ring walk for the main event is expected at 11pm ET.
