As we know, Joe Jonas recently filed for divorce from Sophie Turner after four years of marriage, and it seems an incriminating video of Turner could have been the reason why the singer wanted to part ways.

Since the news came out about the ring camera footage, everyone has been eager to know what was said, and now it has been revealed.

TMZ broke the news that Jonas, 34, and Turner, 27, were on the cusp of divorcing, after Jonas allegedly called two divorce attorneys in Los Angeles. It was later backed up by PEOPLE that Jonas has indeed hired a divorce attorney.

After having wedding ceremonies in both France and Las Vegas, the adored pair tied the knot in 2019. Together, the couple has two children. Their daughter Willa was born in 2020, and they welcomed their second child in July 2022.

The pair has allegedly been having “serious problems” for at least six months, according to TMZ sources.

According to reports, even though he has been touring with his band for the past three months, Joe has been taking care of their two young children “pretty much all of the time.”

Understandably, fans have been sharing their thoughts on the news online, with one writing: “I AM NOT BELIEVING ANYTHING ANY OF YOU TMZ B**CHES HAVE TO SAY UNTIL JOE JONAS AND SOPHIE TURNER THEMSELVES POST THEIR NOTES APP ANNOUNCEMENT.”

While a second said: “Sophie Turner shelved her career for a few years to be the doting wife and a stay-at-home mother, just for Joe Jonas to run to TMZ, screaming “divorce” after she booked a singular job in the United Kingdom. lol what a joke.”

“One thing I always found concerning about Joe Jonas & Sophie Turner’s relationship is that she was so young when they got together. And also she mentioned having issues with her own mental health back then, but then was saying that she needed the relationship,” a third commented.

Some even joked about the situation, with a handful saying they weren’t surprised about the news: “TIL sophie turner and joe jonas are divorcing and the only thing that immediately came into my mind was that tweet when they got married in las vegas saying “you ever see a couple and just know they’re gonna get a divorce” I’m paraphrasing but whew.”

And now, it’s been confirmed that Joe has filed for divorce.

According to TMZ, Joe is requesting joint custody of their two kids, Willa, age 3, and their infant.

The outlet reported that they were informed directly by sources that the prenuptial agreement between Joe and Sophie is mentioned in his divorce papers, which TMZ was able to get. There is more information in this section relating to their children, such as Joe’s request for a court to arrange a parenting schedule between him and Sophie that requires “frequent and continuing contact with both parties.”

Joe also reveals that he has been the one looking after the two kids lately. Revealing he has taken them with him to Miami and “other locations throughout the United States.” So has been touring while looking after them.

He contends that both parents should be expected to contribute financially for their children. Having said that, he wants the court to decide what’s fair and to take the kids’ health insurance into account while doing so.

According to TMZ, Friends have allegedly shared the reason for Joe’s divorce as being because of the actors love of partying.

“She likes to party; he likes to stay at home. They have very different lifestyles,” the source said.

Since then, Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner have posted a joint Instagram statement addressing the rumours.

They wrote: “After four wonderful years of marriage we have mutually decided to amicably end our marriage,” adding: “There are many speculative narratives as to why but, truly this is a united decision and we sincerely hope that everyone can respect our wishes for privacy for us and our children.”

Since then, it has been revealed that incriminating ring camera footage of Sophie might have been the reason the singer wanted to call it quits.

According to several individuals close to Joe, the actress said or did something that was captured by their Ring camera that caused him to realise he had to leave.

Joe apparently overheard Sophie Turner insulting him on their Ring camera.

“It wasn’t anything more than that,” a source allegedly told US Weekly “But that was the final straw.”
