The family provided an update on her condition, more than a month after the health and beauty influencer experienced the aneurysm at 39 weeks into her first pregnancy. In an Instagram post, they expressed their gratitude for the prayers and support received.
Jackie is now awake and has been transferred to one of the top neurological rehabilitation hospitals in the country. The doctors have been encouraged by her recent tests, numbers, and evaluations, noting that she is surpassing expectations in her recovery and showing progress each day.
However, the family emphasized that Jackie still has a long and challenging road to recovery ahead of her, despite the positive strides she has made so far.
During the period when Miller James was in a medically induced coma, her child was delivered via C-section. In a poignant moment captured in a photo and shared on a GoFundMe page, the baby was placed in her arms.
Following the delivery, the baby spent 12 days in the neonatal intensive care unit and was reported to be in good health.
“Jackie & Austin’s baby girl is a constant source of light for the entire family and continues to grow into a happy, healthy, and animated little angel,” the family’s update read. “Jackie has also recently been reunited with her baby, and spends a great deal of each day with her entire family while in the hospital.”
