We live in a time where you need to be cautious about what you say. That has always been the case, but these days, people can be sensitive when you say the wrong thing, regardless of whether you meant to say it or not.

Emma Roberts has found herself in such a situation, as her costar, Angelica Ross, has taken offense at something she said and did. According to Ross, Emma Roberts misgendered her.

The 42-year-old trans actress shared the experience on Instagram. She appeared in seasons nine and 10 of the show, American Horror Story.

She said that it was in 2019 when her relationship with Roberts first went south. According to Ross, there was a fun moment between the two of them and Roberts said something in a joking way but Ross did not care for it. A transphobic remark was made.

Ross said: “I’m standing in front of Emma, talking to her like this, and she’s in front of me, her back against the mirror.”

“She goes, ‘John, Angelica’s being mean.” There are many things that are not known about the situation, including if she was actually being for real or was just playing and fun.

Ross recalled the statement, saying she looked at Roberts “dead a** in the camera” and saying: “What the f*** did you just say?”, adding: “And I’m standing there looking her dead a** in the thing, and I’m like, trying to process [what] the f*** she just said.

“I’m standing there, she walked away, my blood is boiling. Because I’m like, if I say something, it’s gonna be me that’s the problem.”

In the end, Ross said that she was done and didn’t speak to her the entire time after that. They had scenes together but otherwise, they didn’t speak.

She also said that Emma Roberts asked her if she was okay during that time.
